The Action Army AAP 01 performed nicely on the hop up test which it was able to lift up to 0.36g bbs and this is quite enough for a pistol to use. However with some bucking upgrades, we are sure this pistol can lift even heavier. BTW we highly recommend upgrading the hop up chamber to the Action Army AAP01 Hop up Chamber.
For the range test despite the barrel length this pistol can still reach up to 50 meters effectively hitting a man size target. Just like what we’ve said in the video, it is a rifle inside a pistol.
The best grouping result was made by the 0.32 g, which the grouping area was 6.5 x 12 cm, and based on the result we are really interested to see what would happen if we upgrade the barrel and bucking.
I was expecting really great result from this aap01 since its got such a small bolt, the performance would be great. But strangely it did not perform as well, the average was 7.2mps and it was on the less consistent side.
At 10 Degree Celsius, the Gas Efficiency did not disappoint us this time, the AAP01 performed nicely running 50 effect bolt lock aka 2.17 mags with one single charge of gas.
The rate of fire was insane, this pistol was like the A10 Warhog, shooting 23 rounds in a second, We do not want to be where the gun is pointing at.
